Rural Land System Change and Innovation Research in New China
Chinas rural land system has ultimately established the collective-ownership and farmer-operate household contract responsibility system after several times changes since 1949,which are resulting from the path dependence of the system change.However,its further evolution and innovation are still affected by the path-dependent theory.This paper will analyze the establishment and evolution process of the household contract responsibility system,and further raise suggestions or proposals to the innovative models of Chinas rural land system as well as its future reform: lower transaction costs in rural land system changes by flexibly using two means; create a relaxed external environment for the rural land system by actively developing non-agricultural industries; adjust the rural land system in time according to the changes in the external environment.
