Comparison of Economic Growth of China with that of Low-Medium-and High-income Countries: From the Perspectives of GNI and GDP Per Capita
By the means of quantitative analysis, this paper compares the economic growth of China with that of other low-,medium-,and high-income countries from the perspectives of GNI and GDP per capita and draws the following conclusion. The gap between China and medium-and high-income countries has been wider, though the economic growth has been very fast since 1980s.The reason is that high-income countries have stronger economic and technical strength. Therefore, they can reinforce their competitive ability effectively. The economic development of China is not a threat to medium-and high-income countries.Meanwhile,China has to take every chance to step up its economic growth if China wants to bridge the gap.
