Study on the Economic Development Pattern in Rural Areas of China
The rapid growth of Chinese economy has benefited the varied social groups in varied levels indeed.But the farmers can not share the rewards from innovation and openness with the citizens in-phase as the two areas,cities and rural areas,have been operated under separate government systems for a long time.Capital and wealth bring new benefits to the owners of these resources.The disparity between cities and rural areas accelerates and this is the cause of many,if not most,of societys problems.New firms and where possible,existing ones,be located in towns and small cities.This centralized function would provide several important benefits,including: creating a more efficient infrastructure for firms,easing the plight of the extra rural labor force while helping avert the potentially disastrous migrations to the cities,and increasing income for the rural areas.Eventually the only choice is to develop urbanization in rural areas so as to promote the economic development in rural areas and to build a harmonious and prosperous society.
