An Empirical Study on the Opening Degree of City Economy

摘要：

Due to globalization,trade and investment integration have become the core of world economy.Globalization offers opportunities and challenges for cities.Integration of world economy has broken the boundaries of market,technology,and human resource within one country.Competition among countries often appears as the competition of cities all over the world.It is necessary to enhance the degree of economic opening and improve the international competitiveness of cities.This paper presents an indicator system for measuring the degree of city economic opening.An empirical study has been conducted to measure the degree of city economic opening from three aspects.The paper draws conclusion that the degree of city economic opening is significantly correlated with geography and national economic development.
