Research on Innovation Clusters in Regions

摘要：

A new concept of ‘innovation clusters is brought forward based on Schumpeters ‘innovation and Porters ‘clusters notions,in order to explain how and why ‘innovation clusters bring about the great influences on regional development.In this article,it looks back the origin of ‘clusters thought; points out the differences and relationship between ‘innovation clusters and ‘clusters; differentiates ‘clusters into three kinds of patterns: ‘prevailing clusters,‘remnant clusters and ‘innovation clusters; the basic characters of ‘innovation clusters and its great influences on regional economy are analysed and some policy suggestions are put forward to promote ‘innovation clusters in regions.
