Empirical Study on Eco-Innovation in Hubei Province

摘要：

While innovation processes toward sustainable development (eco-innovations) have received increasing attention during the past years,theoretical and methodological approaches to analyze these processes are poorly developed.This paper discusses the approaches for eco-innovation from the perspective of co-evolution.At the same time,the author also gives the reasons that the inventions are variations which succeed or fail in the evolutionary process due to selection criteria of their environment.Finally,the writer puts forward that an imaginary break point between regulatory driven stage and market driven stage is proposed using S-curve theory to explain transition of the two driving forces for some eco-innovation.
