Study on the Value Chain Theory and Corporate Divestiture

摘要：

Corporate divestiture is one of the corporate restructures that are most commonly used.Firstly,the paper discusses Porters concept of value chain,then,the vertical horizontal extensions of value chain are combined to develop value network.One motive of divestiture is to optimize and integrate value chain,and to achieve the aim of value maximization and sustainable development.The value chain analysis includes the analysis of own value chain,industry value chain and value network.This paper described how to choose the assets,which can be divested,through the value chain analysis.
