How Can Companies Derive Greater Value from Their Supply Chain in China?

摘要：

Many companies meet the problem that customers demand faster deliveries,more innovation,lower total costs and a perfect quality.Chinas transportation and logistics market exhibits low efficiency and poor service quality,which attributable to four major factors.This paper analyzed the current pitfalls &promises for the future of China Logistics and proposed that the key challenges for logistics providers in China.Armed with this basic knowledge,each years list of supply chain initiatives is typically designed to keep supply chain cost and service within an acceptable range.These kinds of initiatives make sense at a managerial level and satisfy the need for purposeful direction,but most companies,if they follow a few basic principles,can obtain greater value from supply chain initiatives.
