Practice of Constructing New Relations between Labor and Capital in China
Accompanied by the industrialization and urbanization in China, a great deal of rurallabors has been moving into the secondary and tertiary industry in cities. As the importantpush of the development of China, they have been involving in such non-state-ownedsectors like private,foreign and personal enterprises. However,there are several seriousproblems of the relations between labor and capital in these non-state-owned enterprises,e.g., over low wages, unprotected labor rights. Even there were some events likemaltreatment on labors in those illegal brick factories in Shanxi Province. To solveproblems between labor and capital and form harmonious relations between them, weshould take some comprehensive methods over economic, political and social aspects,including strengthening legislation, standardizing labor contract, setting up labor union andenhancing negotiation ability of labors. From the view of corporate culture andmanagement, it is an important progress to set up employer brand through enhancingemployers self-conscious and forming harmonious and stable relations between labor andcapital.
