Seven Paradoxes of Chinese Human Resource Management
This paper discusses seven paradoxes of Chinese human resource management (HRM) vis a vis its evolution over the last two decades or so, in the context of a transitional economy. The paradox categories discussed include Western/Eastern, Capitalist/Socialist, Ideological/Non-Ideological, Advanced economy/Developmental economy, Global/Glocal, Multinational/National, and last, Individualist/Collectivist.
