EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON UITRASONIC INSPECTION OF REINFORCE CONCRETE BEAMS SUBJECTED TO CORROSION
Corrosion is one of the most causations which arise the invalidation of a reinforcedconcrete structure. Through a permeation experiment in the sodium chloride solution ofreinforced concrete beams with two different steel ratios,a certain relation of testing data ofthe reinforced concrete beams with different corrosion degrees and the same steel ratios orwith different steel ratios and the same corrosion degrees in ultrasonic experimentation isstudied in this paper. Through the ultrasonic experimental study of two kinds of reinforcedconcrete beams,some related rules between damage accumulation of structure of reinforcedconcrete and speed of ultrasonic wave are described. An important conclusion is obtained thatif there are existent original ultrasonic wave mensurative records of structure of reinforcedconcrete,the corrosion and damage degree about structure of reinforced concrete can bepreliminary estimated through the speed of ultrasonic wave in a certain time. A very practicalmethod for the determining is presented.
