THE EVALUATION OF THE EXISTING ROAD TUNNEL
Because there is still lack of a method for the evaluation of tunnel structures,thispaper discussed the general method in taking assessment and made a scheme of assessmentfor tunnel structures. For approaches for evaluating the stability and reliability of tunnelstructures are suggested. The tasks of the implementation of tunnel inspection are groupedand aim is to provide data for safety and serviceability evaluation of tunnel structure. A tunnelin soft ground is given as a case for practical application assessment. The assessment analyzedresults of tunnel structural safety and residual service-life.
