RESEARCH ON FATIGUE BEHAVIOR OF CONCRETE BEAMS WITH SLIGHT CORROSION REINFORCEMENT
It is important to evaluate the behavior of reinforced concrete structures with slightcorrosion. The fatigue experiment of five concrete beams with slight corrosion reinforcementhas been made. The influence of weight loss ratio of reinforcement and stress ratio on thedeflection of span-centre,maximal crack width and fatigue life of concrete beams has beeninvestigated. It is found that the central deflection of slight corroded beams is lower than thatof the non-corroded beams,the maximal crack width of corroded beam decrease with theincrease of stress ratio,and pit corrosion on the surface of reinforcement and cracking inconcrete promote the fatigue fracture of reinforcement and the exceeding of crack width ofconcrete. The results are helpful to the research and assessment of concrete beams with slightcorrosion reinforcement.
