STUDY ON THE NON-SYMMETRY CORROSION OF STEEL REINFORCED CONCRETE
In this paper,the influence of the non-symmetry corrosion on the properties of thesteel reinforced concrete is studied. The damage mode in the structure,the reliability of thematerials,and the influence of the non-symmetry corrosion on the bearing capacity of steelreinforced concrete are analyzed. Also,the mechanism of non-symmetry corrosion isdiscussed. Results suggest that the frame of the steel reinforced concrete can be damaged withsteel corrosion and non-symmetry corrosion may lead to non-symmetry damage,resulting inthe degradation of the mechanical properties and the strength redistribution in the structure.Also,the form of the strength in the structure is changed,which may bring on bearing failurein the structure. Thus,the durability of the steel reinforced concrete framework is lessened,which may reduce the life of the building.
