SPLITTING TENSILE STRENGTH OF NEW-OLD CONCRETE BOND SUBJECTED TO ELEVATED TEMPERATURE
The splitting tensile test of 90 new-old concrete bond cube specimens werepresented to investigate the effects of elevated temperatures on the tensile behavior of new-old concrete bonding interface. The new-old concrete cube was formed by bonding first andthen heated second, which the temperature range was from ambient temperature to 900℃with an increment of 100℃. Based on the test results, the temperature-damaged mechanismsof new-old concrete bond interface are analyzed and the influences of some main factors suchas temperature, cooling ways, interfacial roughness and interracial adhesives on bond splittingtensile strength are investigated. The multi-factor unified formula of bond splitting tensilestrength is deduced. The results indicate that bond splitting tensile strength decreases sharplyat elevated temperatures.
