ANALYSIS OF DEFORMATIONAL BEHAVIOR OF MORTAR UNDER FREEZING AND THAWING ACTION
In this study,a simulation tool for prediction of deformational behavior of mortarunder freezing and thawing cycle is developed. The simulation tool consists of two analyticalmethods; one is Rigid Body Spring Model (RBSM) and the other is mass transfer analysis.Moisture and ice content and temperature distribution are calculated by mass transfer analysis.Using information obtained from mass transfer analysis,deformational behavior of mortar iscalculated by RBSM. Some computed results are presented.
