STUDY ON TENSILE PROPERTY OF CONCRETE CORRODED BY SODIUM CHLORIDE SOLUTION
In order to investigate the tensile strength of the concrete corroded by chloride ion,tensile tests are conducted on concrete specimen,which are corroded by accelerated corrosionmethod. Two kinds of corrosive Sodium Chloride solutions (concentrations are 10% and 20%respecively),are applied as the corrosive medium. Two series of corrosion tests,including 24dumbbell-shaped specimens,are carried out. Tensile properties (e.g. tensile strength,stress-strain relation,elastic modulus etc.) of the corroded specimens are achieved. Taking thestrength degradation ratio and strain energy loss as damage index,effects of the corrosionsolution on the property of corroded concrete are discussed in detail. Relationships betweenthe damage index and corrosion state of specimens are achieved.
