LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE TOUGHENING STUDY

Polymer,steel fibre and organic fibre are taken into lightweight aggregateconcretes to improve strength and toughness.The test result shows that toughness is increasedwhen even single steel fibre,organic fibre and Polymer individually,and the Polymer andsteel fibre are both mixed into lightweight aggregate concretes significantly improve thecapability of strength and toughness,with bending strength greater than 8.0 MPa andtoughness η30 index greater than 28.
