PHOSPHOROUS SLAGS IMPACT ON THE ANTI-CRACK PERFORMANCE OF MASS VOLUME CONCRETE
At present,phosphorous slag is refrained from being used in mass volume concretedue to the uncertainties of its anti-crack performance. The most concerned problem,crackresistance,is studied based on the tests with single phosphorous slag and flying ash addedrespectively and compositely. Considering the retarding effect,hydration heat and otheraspects,an anti-crack index,KL,is suggested to comprehensively estimate the crackresistance of mass volume concrete. The crack resistance of phosphorous slag concrete isdivided into three stages,early hazardous stage,middle growth stage and later mature stage.Besides,it is analyzed on the mechanism of phosphorous slag performances and its impact onconcrete crack resistance,and the tests results provide a theoretical basis for phosphorousslags application in mass volume concrete.
