THE PROPERTY STUDY OF THREE LENGTH INDIVIDUAL POLYPROPYLENE AND STEEL HYBRID FIBERS REINFORCED CONCRETE

In order to improve the hybrid fibres reinforced concrete (HFRC) whole levels,thispaper applied to the hybrid fibers with three length individual polypropylene (PP) fibers andsteel fibers,which played their corresponding roles at different scales. With the same mixingcraft,design and workability,this study jumbled with the different types,length and volumefraction,then there was the strength and resisting shrinkage test. The hybrid coefficient wasintroduced to compare and analyze the influence of the single and hybrid fibers to the strength.Slab test was adopted to evaluate the resisting shrinkage of the fibers concrete. The resultsdedicated that the hybrid fiber had the remarkable mechanical properties contrasting to plainconcrete and single fiber concrete in the whole,furthermore when being the hybrid fiber,thePPC fibres were showed the highest in contrast with PPA and PPB,then we obtained the bestcombination of SF0.51 PPC0.2 hybrid fiber concrete.
