EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF DAMAGE ON THE CHLORIDION PERMEABILITY OF CONCRETE
Micro-crack in concrete can affect the permeability of concrete in a certain extent. This paper focuses on the effect of micro-crack on the Chloridion permeability of concrete. Inthe paper, the split tests for two different concrete specimen and the Chloridion permeabletests for cracked concrete specimen are carried out. Damage with different crack width CODis acquired by split tests, and the relationship between crack width and Chloridion diffusioncoefficient D is studied. The test results show that strength of cement paste, sort and grate ofaggregate have significant impacts on the cracking of concrete; the residual displacementCODr within 25 microns show little effect on concrete Chloridion permeability; the rate β ofdiffusion coefficient changes rises with the increase of the residual displacement CODr. Theconclusions are valuable to evaluate permeability of existing concrete structures.
