Game Research on Chinas Strategy for EUs Technical Barriers to Trade
Sino-Euro trade has increased dramatically in the last few years. Meanwhile, their trade friction and trade dispute are also heightened.Under the circumstances, technical barriers to trade (TBT) are widely adopted as important instruments to protect domestic market. China encountered many TBT after its entry into WTO, which added much to the cost of Chinas export. Therefore, this paper attempts to make a research on Chinas strategy for EUs technical barriers to trade, by briefly introducing the definition and characteristics of TBT, analyzing the elements of the Sino-Euro TBT, building the static and dynamic game models to describe Chinas strategy in reply to European TBT, and in the end applying the game method to a case study of Wenzhou lighter, so as to provide practical evidences for Chinas countermeasure against EUs TBT as well as other developing countries.
