Resonator Technique Applied to Dielectric Measurement of Non-Planar Dielectric Objects at Millimeter Wavelengths
This paper provides a reliable dielectricmeasurement theory of an open resonator for non-planarobjects such as convex-concave objects.The completeanalytical formulas on complex permittivity are presented bymeans of the second-order theory of the open resonator and thefield matching method for the first time.Furthermore,themeasurement system is designed and built up at Ka band,andthe consistency of the results between plane samples and nonplanarsamples verifies the accuracy of the new theory.
