A Noninvasive Heart Beat Stimulation and Regularization System using Pulsed Microwaves

Low level microwave radiation effects on biologicalsystems and its potential benefits for medical applications is arecent research field.Irradiation of biological systems with lowlevel microwaves causes functional disturbances in thebiological tissues resulting in the permeability of cardiac cellmembrane.This property of microwaves can be employed fortreating cardiac arrhythmia.The objective of this paper is tointroduce a remote non invasive microwave system for heartbeat stimulation and regularization.A microwave system forgenerating pulsed microwaves at a frequency of 2.45GHzproviding a power level of 10mw and a rectangular patchantenna as a microwave radiator are designed and simulated.
