Compact Microwave Transmitter on board a Pico-satellite for Atmospheric Water Vapor Observations
Outline and some results of performance evaluation tests ofa compact transmitter is described, which is onboard atiny satellite for atmospheric water vapor observations.Output power of the transmitter is nominally 200 mW.Size of 70 mm×60 mm×30 mm and weight of 145grams are achieved by using commercial-based latestcomponents. From preliminary tests we have found thatthe transmitter satisfies requirements of the satellite.
