The Time-Domain Scattering Characteristics Analysis of the Typical Satellites in Different Space Attitudes
A method to study the time-domain/wide-bandscattering characteristics variety with satellite attitude change isproposed in this paper,and the time-domain and wide-bandelectromagnetic scattering characteristics of typical spinstabilizedand triaxis-stabilized satellites in different spaceattitude conditions (rolling,pitch and yaw) are investigated byusing the proposed methods and the parallel Finite-DifferenceTime-Domain (FDTD) code.The results show the change ofrolling attitude more easily arouses the variety of scatteringcharacteristic of satellite target than pitch attitude change does.The calculation results may be helpful to the wide band radarfor detecting,identifying and tracking of the satellite targets.
