Polarization Evolution of Polarization Modulation Effects in Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers

摘要：

The SOP evolutions induced by the nonlinearpolarization modulation (PolM),including self-PolM (SPolM)and Cross-PolM (XPolM) of SOAs,are investigated in termsof the polarization evolution traces on the Poincaré sphere bysimulation.Such that the PolM effects of SOAs can becomprehended precisely.And the PolM effects influenced bythe SOA injection current is simulated and discussed as well.
