A Highly Efficient Feed-Forward Doherty Amplifier with Improved Group-delay performance
In this paper,a RF high power Dohertyfeed-forward amplifier using equal group-delay canceller isproposed which provide high efficiency and high linearity alsowith improved group-delay performance.The Dohertyamplifier takes Freescale mrf21125S N-channelEnhancement-Mode Lateral MOSFETs as the main amplifier ofa feed-forward amplifier.By carefully adjust the gate bias andthe phase offset line as well as through a 3dB hybridgroup-delay canceller,at the output of 25W the amplifierperforms with 44dB better adjacent channel leakage powerratio (ACLR),3.9% higher power added efficiency (PAE)thanconventional Class-AB feed-forward amplifier.
