Dynamic Self-Shielding Bus Encoding for Signal Integrity Enhancement and Low Power in NOCs

摘要：

As feature sizes shrink and clock frequenciesincrease,Signal integrity and power consumption face criticalchallenges in design and implementation of NOCs(Network-on-Chip).A kind of dynamic self-shielding busencoding scheme is proposed in this article.This scheme aimsto provide a high degree of signal integrity through dynamicself-shielding technique and to reduce bus power consumptionin NOCs.Qualitative comparisons between our scheme andother state-of-the-art approaches showed that this encodingscheme enhances signal integrity and decreases bus powerconsumption.
