Characterization of Crosstalk Effects in Double-Walled Carbon Nanotube (DWCNT) Bundle Bus Architecture
The erosstalk effects in single-and double-walledcarbon nanotube bundle bus architectures are investigated andcompared in this paper.New equivalent circuit models areproposed for both the single-and double-walled carbonnanotube bundles.It is found that (a) compared tosingle-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) bundle,adouble-walled carbon nanotube (DWCNT) bundle bus can leadto a reduction of the crosstalk induced time delay by about50%,and a slight reduction of delay uncertainty when the tubesare long; and (b) the peak voltage of the crosstalk inducedglitch in the SWCNT bundle is lower than that in the DWCNTbundle,but the glitch duration time of the SWCNT bundle islonger than its DWCNT counterpart.These results confirm thatthe DWCNT bundle bus is more suitable for the nextgeneration of bus technology and its overall performance willbe better than that of SWCNT bundles.
