Optimizing Estimation of Targets Direction of Arrival after Disturbance Suppression by Exploiting Far Distance Cells Data

The paper proposes one processing method ofoptimizing estimation of direction of arrival (DOA) by utilizinglong distance cells data to suppress radio frequencyinterference (RFI).After exploiting long distance cells data toacquire the eigenvector of RF1 signal and construct thesubspace of RFI signal,we can project the data of distance cellto be tested onto the subspace of RFI signal.Then the result ofprojection is subtracted from the data of distance cell to betested.So RFI signal can be suppressed.We utilize the methodof DOA estimation based on MUSIC algorithm to process thedata in two cases,i.e.one without suppressed RFI and the otherwith suppressed RFI,and compare the results of the DOAestimation in the two cases.The feasibility of the processingmethod is proved by the results of simulation.
