Study of a Planar Spiral Antenna Used in Ground Penetrating Radar System

摘要：

A planar Archimedean-spiral antenna used in UHFground penetrating radar system is studied.How to have aneffect on frequency property for antenna by changingabsorbing structures placed in reflecting cavity is analyzed.According to the analytical result,a new absorbing structure isdesigned and actual measurement is carded out.Finally,theazimuth pattern and radiation property for antenna is analyzedin frequency domain.Results based on actual measurementshow that the change of the azimuth pattern of the antennadesigned is not large in concerned frequency band and thepolarization property of the antenna is reliable.
