Dual-Band Monopole Antenna for 2.45/5.8 GHz RFID Applications
A novel design of dual-band monopole antenna fedby a coplanar waveguide (CPW) for radio frequencyidentification (RFID) applications is presented.By embeddinga slot,the antenna achieves good dual-band operation.Thesimulated impedance bandwidth for -10dB return loss is from2.25 GHz to 2.89 GHz (24.9%) and 5.30 GHz to 6.22 GHz(16.0%),covering the 2.45/5.8 GHz RFID operating bands.
