Analysis and Design of Multi-Beam Antenna with Dielectric Spherical Lens at Millimeter-Wave Band
A constant permittivity dielectric spherical lensmulti-beam antenna working at millimeter wavelengths isdesigned in this paper.We make use of the axial symmetry ofthe antenna to reduce the time-consuming of direct analyzingthe electrically large scale lens.The simulation analysis of thestructure of the single-feed antenna has conducted byoptimizing the parameters of the antenna to get the optimalstructural parameters.So the structural parameters of theantenna with multi-feed are computed based on analogouslymanipulating the foregoing design.The simulation resultsobtained by optimizing the parameters according to the designdemonstrate that the radiation patterns meet the basicrequirement of multi-beam antennas.
