Investigation and design of K-band broadband frequency doubler
In this paper,broadband frequency doubleremploying lead-beam Schottky diodes in a planar balunconfiguration,consisted of coplanar waveguide,slot-line andmicro-strip,is presented.Good performance for outputfrequency up to K-band (16.5-25GHz) are obtained byutilizing some available commercial CAD software.Thislow-cost multiplier is useful to generate the wide band localoscillator signals required in many wideband systems.
