The Measurements and Simulations of Millimeter Wave Propagation at 38ghz in Circular Subway Tunnels

The paper mainly focuses on the characteristics ofmillimeter wave propagation at 38GHz in circular subwaytunnels.Ray tracing method is implemented to evaluate thepath loss in the tunnels.The proposed simulation based on raytracing method has been validated by comparing results withmeasurements obtained in No.9 subway tunnel of Shanghai.Further simulations both in straight and curved tunnels havebeen carried out to comprehend the characteristics ofmillimeter wave propagation at 38GHz in circular subwaytunnels.
