A Novel Dielectrically-Loaded Antenna for GPS/CNSS Dual-Band Applications

摘要：

A new approach to design an antenna for GPS (global positioning system,1575MHZ) and CNSS (Compass Navigation Satellite System,1620MHZ) dual-band applications is reported.The dual band operation is achieved through the incorporation of two dielectrically-loaded quadrifilar helix antennas (DQHA) intoA dielectrically-loaded octafilar helix antenna (DOHA). The dielectric loading associating with the special feeding structure yields an antenna with low proximity effects and small size to be suitable for mobile handset.
