Side lobe Reduction in Thinned Array Synthesis Using Immune Algorithm
The synthesis of a large thinned array is unapproa-chable by using traditional method. Thus,global search algori-thms are excellent in designing specific characteristics.Inorder to improve the side lobe performance of thinned array,Immune algorithm (IA) is applied to array synthesis by optimizing array position in this paper. Examples with different thinning percentages have been proposed and optimized to demonstrate the functionality of this technique,and commendable results are achieved.
