A Multi-Band Compact Monopole Antenna for Mobile Handsets

摘要：

The antenna,usedInmulti-band system,must operateInseveral bands,and it is better to be compactInsize.A new multi-band (GSM/DCS/PCS/UMTS) folded planar monopole antenna has been presented in this paper,and the simulation has been completed by the software Ansoft HFSS10.0.The results show that the antenna is able to operate in multiband and its structure is compact. So the antenna could satisfy the requirements of new generation wireless communication system to frequency and bandwidth,it provides a new scheme for designing a planar monopole antenna for mobile handsets.
