Ultra-wideband printed wide-slot antenna with an inverted π-shaped feed

摘要：

A new ultra-wideband printed wide-slot antenna with an inverted π-shaped feed fed by a coplanar waveguide(CPW) is introduced. The experimental results show that the antenna has an impedance bandwidth of approximately 120％(VSWR ≤ 2) ,covering 3.0～12GHz frequency range.Comparing with some reported same-type antennas,it is noted that the size of the proposed antenna is the smallest one of them.
