Study of Murs and UPML Absorbing Boundary Condition for the LOD-FDTD Method
In This paper,the characteristics of the Murs first order absorbing boundary condition (ABC) and uniaxial anisotropic perfectly matched layer (UPML) absorbing boundary conditionInunconditionally stable locally one-dimensional (LOO) finite-difference time-domain (FOTD) method are studied. The numerical examples illustrate that the Murs ABC can be usedInthe LOD-FDTD,while UPML-ABC may exhibit very bad absorbing effect when utilizedInthe LOD-FDTD method.
