A Broadband Noise-Canceling CMOS Differential LNA for 50-860MHz TV Tuner

In This paper,a broadband CMOS differential LNA for 50-860MHz multi-standard terrestrial and cable TV tuner is proposed,in which the channel thermal noise and the flicker noise of input MOSFET is canceled by exploitingA noise-canceling technique.A lower noise figure and an excellent wide-band input matching can be achieved at the same time. The proposed LNA is designed with TSMC 0.18 μm RF CMOS process. Post-simulation results show that in 50-860MHz,the gain is between 13.3-15.1 dB,the NF is 1.7-2.2 dB,the lIP3 is -0.5 dBm. It consumes 26.5 mW underA 1.8V supply. The core area is 0.53×0.23 mm2.
