Source Module Based on Diodes-Multipliers to Extend Signal Generator Capability from 110 to 170GHz
This paper has a deal with the frequency range extension of microwave signal generator based on frequency multipliers. Emphasis is on the theory,design,and construction of the millimeter-wave multipliers including doubler and tripler employing planar GaAs Schottky-barrier diodes in a balanced configuration. Based on these multipliers,a source module is developed,which extends a microwave signal generator capability from 110 to 170GHz with leveled output power.
