Development of two-dimensional digital beamforming receiving array system
The architecture of a 2-D digital beam-forming(DBF) receiving array experimental system is presented.inthis system,wideband microstrip patch antenna is applied.Digital IF receivers (DIFR) and digital channel calibration technologies are adopted to avoid the I/Q unbalance of each channel and the amplitude,phase unbalance among channels.The DBF weight coefficients for four independent simultaneous beams are obtainedInparallel by several high-speed digital signal processors (DSP)Inreal-time. Experimental results verify the validity of the hardware and the adaptive linearly constrained minimum variance (LCMV) algorithm used inthe proposed DBF receiving array system.
