Analysis of 8x8 Butler Matrix Switched Beam Smart Antenna Having Different Current Distributions

Switched beam smart antenna system using 8x8 Butler matrix is analyzedIn This paper. The radiation characteristics and phasing values ofThis system are calculated and performance comparisons are introduced under the application of four current distributions at its input. These distributions are; Uniform,Doiph-Chebyshev,Taylor N-BAR,and Binomial distributions.
