A Compact UWB Bandpass Filter Using Pseudo-Interdigital Stepped Impedance Resonators

A compact bandpass uRra-wideband filter using pseudo-interdigital stepped impedance resonators (PI-SIRs) and tapped input/output (1/0) is predicted and implemented with microstrip line. By adding a short stab on the I/O ports,the BPF has good performances at the whole UWB passband of 3.1 GHz -10.6 GHz. It is shown that the UWB BPF has a smaller size incomparison of previous works. The measured bandwidth is 3.11GHz-10.58GHz,experimental results of the fabricated filter agree well with the predicted results.
