An Analog Predistorter with Dual Ring for WCDMA Repeater Amplifier
This paper presents the design of a predistorter which can be used to improve the linearity of power amplifier working on WCDMA band. For effectively suppress the spectrum regrowthInthe adjacent channels,A dual rings predistorter with which the intermodulation distortion (IMD) can be adjusted independently is designed. With the help of the predistorter,ACLR is improved 10 for the cases of one-carrier WCDMA applications. The predistortion power amplifier with dual rings deliversA Pout of 37.02 dBm with an ACLR of -51 dBc. For two-carrier WCDMA applications,the ACLR also been ameliorated 8.5 dB.
