Biocontrol Function of Bacillus Strain Transformation Using Poplar APMP Pulp Wastewater as Substrate
Pulp wastewater is hard to treat due to its high chrominance and high chemical oxygen demand(COD).However, pulp wastewater can be adopted as nutrient elements to produce Bacillus strain, which has a biocontrol function. In this paper, the feasibility of biotransformation using pulp wastewater is studied and antagonism tests for some fungal diseases are carried out.The seed germination and plant tests results showed that the transformation is safe and nontoxic.Furthermore, the results showed a positive effect to promote plant growth. This novel approach of treating pulp wastewater could be a potential way for the wastewater treatment.
