Study on the Wet Forming of Aramid-Terylene Paper

摘要：

Aramid fiber is used as the main material for producing high-performance aramid paper-based composite materials.It is difficult for this kind of paper to take shape in water medium,and it is an expensive process because the dispersing characteristics of aramid fiber are so bad.However,the terylene fiber has a better dispersing capability,and the cost is low.The innovation of this research is to append terylene fibers to the composite materials.The beating techniques,the ratio of aramid fiber to terylene fiber,and the wet-forming procedures were addressed in this paper.The target of this research is to produce high-performance and low-cost aramid-terylene paper-based composite materials.
