Feasible Research on Mechanical Pretreated Bio-pulping of Different Broussonetia Papyrifera Basts
Broussonetia Papyrifera has been used with a long history in China.Like Kenaf,Broussonetia Papyrifera had been made into paper and cloth since Eastern Hart Dynasty.Broussonetia Papyrifera is a perennial hardwood,which has the characteristic of plants of the family Moraeeace.Chemical analysis of wild Broussonetia Papyrifera bast,Guangyechu white bast and Meliorated Broussonetia Papyfifera bast show that Broussonetia Papyrifera Basts have the same characteristic,namely,the content of pectin is very high and that of lignin is low; the three kinds of bast fibers are 5.05mm,6.43mm,6.83mm in length.The experimental results indicate the three kinds of basts are applicable to mechanical pretreated biopulping,and yield of pulp is 75.40％,68.77％,76.82％,Kappa number is 23.67,22.06,20.33.
